Stock :
Rising on a tall stem, stock has dense clusters of small single – or double – blossomed flowers. Stock first became known outside of the Mediterranean region toward the end of the Middle Ages. An inexpensive flower that is available year – round, stock is valued for its use as a complementary flower and its fragrant, spicy clovelike scent. Look for it in white, pink, apricot, yellow, deep pink, and purple .
